On October 9th I had my first Ring Ouzel of the year near Chowder, Barton on the local patch - they have been a bit thin this autumn but Wayne and Clare found one in the same spot this morning surely a different bird not seen in the interim - a nice first-winter male

not all parakeets squealing around are Rose-ringed - in neighbour's garden this week in Barton one of two birds in the area but second needs better views

Any thoughts on this wobbler I’ll confess to being less than clued up.
First time birding in the Algarve for us and I had a brilliant time (even with the dodgy weather) Subalpine Warbler, Zitting Cisticola and a Cetti's preparing to do it's disappearing act 😄
