Yang Daoyuan, the No. 1 serviceman (i.e. commander) of the Mao Zedong Thought Red Guards Wuhan Area Revolutionary Rebel Command (abbreviated as Wuhan Steel No. 2 Command), died of a heart attack at 11:21 this morning in Huizhou, Guangdong at the age of 85. @GPCRPodcast

The Red Guard armbands are unique- the guy was able to find 2 big batches of them that were still uncut from the cloth from the factory- so they were never actually used. He actually cut them off for me individually. It was super neat!.

Today's haul at Panjiayuan Antique Market was very successful! 10 Mao badges, 2 Red Guard armbands, 1 bilingual Mao pamphlet, and 1 document from the 9th CPC Congress for 550RMB ($75). Not a bad grab!
