Stolen earlier. This bike was spotted by #CVU 2 up. Unfortunately the 2 got away upon spotting the unmarked car sneaking up on them. However, bike recovered & returned to its young owner with minimal ignition wire damage. Hopefully back on the road soon 🙏

This Yamaha was stolen from Eccles this afternoon and recovered in Buile Hill Park less than 10 minutes later after keen eyed members of the public reported the bike in the bushes. Minimal damage luckily and vehicle returned to owner.

This adapted bike was stopped by the #GMPMotorcycleUnit, ridden by a 14 year old. Whilst an ebike can be ridden by a 14 year old, this isn’t an ebike. It’s a motorcycle. It was therefore seized and the rider reported for all offences. #fatal4 #165

Stopped on the M62 as not displaying any registration plate. The registration plate (which was too small and didn't comply with regulations had "fallen off" allegedly 😉 ), however the sticky back tape still had the tape affixed. Relevant traffic offence report issued #CVU

These straps were holding a brand new £200K boat on the rear of a trailer. Straps & Ratchets are consumable items and must be replaced when worn, holed, cut or otherwise damaged. Please check your strap regularly, like you should check your vehicle. #CVU #safe4summer

#CVU conducted enforcement within the Trafford Park area, looking at commercial vehicle load security, and weight offences with the support of #DVSA. Over 20 vehicles stopped; 14 prohibited for overweight / insecure loads, fines issued. 1 seized #Sec165 no driving licence.

This scaffolding van was stopped by #CVU officers on the M60 for load security issues. Further checks revealed that the van was 50% overweight, coming in at a staggering 5.2t and the driver’s licence had also expired. PG170 issued and driver reported #seized #fatal4 #SaferSummer
