We were recently scammed by our overcautious advertiser, so the ads are temporarily more boring (and daily bonuses are missing)🙄 We are working on this issue along with the other bugs you have reported to us, update is already in development🛠️
GLTools has reached closed alpha stage, so we are hoping to release it quite soon. We are not planning to do any beta tests, rolling it out straight to production 😎 Stay tuned for a release 🚀
Talking of categories: GLTools now has "game engine" settings🛠️ For now you can use them to unlock 60+ FPS in Unity and UE4 games (that could be capped to 30 by the devs), but we'll add more settings in future
First of all, GLTools doesn't touch your system partition anymore, so it is much safer to use🔐 Instead, it launches particular games with its driver, so it now affects only the games you launch from its menu
Due to being systemless, GLTools can now work in proper virtual spaces and virtual machines, so you can finally use it without root🚀 GLTools will help you find appropriate VMs and virtual spaces
We have also made some quality of life improvements to the interface: settings are now having some explanations, tags and categories, they can also be shared and copied😎
@ROHITPHOUGAT7
We have found some highly critical bugs during alpha testing, and we are working hard to fix them 🛠️ Be assured, we are waiting for a release no less than you 🙄
@alexandrv30
It's still being developed. We have some news though: we made significant progress, so it mostly works now (on both Android 10 and 11). We have also implemented some cool new settings in the driver🎁
@alexandr_bondar
While all of your questions were already answered to some extent, we are happy to announce "when it's done" as the official release date of the new GLTools app to answer all further questions of this kind more precisely 😎
@Binay_T1X
We're on vacation now, we were planning to release an update before, but the new advertiser support was too slow to answer. It's not a critical update anyway as long as GLTools still works, so we think it can be delayed a bit
@573f355b2b2f465
We don't think this can be fixed if the game speed is tied to the frame rate. It's surprising to see that someone does that in 2021 though
@ari_rujani
We are not taking responsibility for 3rd-party game developers. If some company believes that it can ban users solely for making their game look better, it's entirely their fault. There is nothing completely undetectable, so GLTools can't reliably fix this (but maybe we'll try).
@BurningNeuronIO
GLTools doesn't modify game files unless you use some option that is directly about files (shader cache removal, for example). So we don't think this option will be in violation of these ToS
@H1ury
@Drasik29
We bought this app from its previous developer, so it will surely have some monetization in it 🙂 But we are going to use a much more relaxed freemium model, than was in the past (paid only).
@andreymiguel0
Changing package name alone is usually not enough, but we may take some actions if game developers act disrespectful to our users. Let's hope we won't need that
@wildhan_brima
We recommend you to try some more obvious options, for example a FPS counter. Maybe GLTools doesn't work at all on your device, not just GPU templates
@BinTania_
It is unlikely that a easy solution exists, but we may try adding engine support if this game is using some common game engine. Could you please let us know, what is the game?
@drums_raffa
Your payment was probably denied then, you can contact Companion for GLTools support via email if you need further assistance on your purchase
@OtpWukong
The adoption of Vulkan is still surprisingly low and the API itself is overly complex, so this is probably not going to happen soon. But its still the future, so we'll be gradually implementing some options in Vulkan as well
@Josedasuruca
This method was invented specially for the new generation of GLTools. Legacy GLTools just replaced the system files: this is more reliable and simple, but hurts system integrity (and so, triggers some overly cautious anti-cheat systems)
@makko_desing
This is one of the features we have planned in future. It seems to be complicated to implement, but would be nice to have, so we'll see what can be done
@GuanZhang_
We provide x86 version of our tool, but for now that's all support we're interesting in. GLTools works on Android-x86, so any sane emulator should do as well
@Light93536676
GLTools has less than one ad per gaming session, so we consider this acceptable. This amount may be lowered when revenue covers our expenses to purchase the original GLTools from its previous developer. For now premium can be used if you can't stand the ads
@KhnhTrn54696127
This may happen if the order was cancelled (by you or the payment processor). If you are sure that it wasn't, you can contact us via email with more details about your purchase
@zerooneinfinit2
It's the 4th tab of settings, called "game engine". Setting "Engine FPS limiter" to 9000 should unlock the framerate. We'll consider adding this device to our library, but our solution should be actually even safer in terms of ban
@DavinHorn
We'll check this game, but this can still also be a device / firmware issue. We recommend to try testing this game in some other environment (virtual space or virtual machine) so we can know better what can be the problem
@Light93536676
Its interesting how are these "trackers" counted in your app: there isn't 78 mediation networks here. According to the Ad SDK docs, you can use "Opt out of Ad Personalization" under Settings/Google/Ads to disable all of them. We'll make this explicit for the premium users later
@nada_muito
We can only suggest using other GLTools launch modes (VM maybe) until this bug becomes reproducible. Could you let us know what device are you using? By the way, we don't recommend buying premium before testing that GLTools works: premium doesn't fix bugs and incompatibilities
@ilya49392773
We doubt it is possible to resolve this problem with the settings that are currently available in GLTools. If this problem appears in the only one game (and one GPU), chances are low to get this fixed
@DavidMa4000
New GLTools uses a completely new approach, so it isn't as stable and well-tested as the original one. We'll prefer to fix bugs in it instead of modifying the system, because the older approach doesn't seem to remain possible in the new Android versions
@Ovais65
That's a bit strange. Chances are this game is caching GPU info and bans if detects that GPU have changed. So if you have some spare account you can try clearing game data after changing a GPU, this may help
@e_yeonggill2
We aren't providing official support for emulators, but we'll check if this issue happens on our devices. "Apply MSAA to framebuffers" may help by the way.
@Josedasuruca
GLTools waits for the game to start launching, replaces libraries in-memory and detaches. Unlike various unwanted software like cheats it doesn't interfere with the game during its runtime (except the libs)
@alarvyne
Could you please let us know what game is this and which settings & device are you using? GLTools was always breaking some games, but maybe we can fix this
