The I-94 West Corridor Coalition was proud to join the @MapleGroveMNGov, @MnDOT, @Hennepin County, and other supporters to celebrate the completion of the Highway 610 Extension Project.

The I-94 Gap Project between Albertville and Monticello is one of the most significant infrastructure investments on the I-94 West Corridor. Supported through the $76 million Corridors of Commerce program, it is expanding I-94 to six lanes by 2026.

Maple Grove, Rogers, and the I-94 West Corridor Coalition have all applied for Corridors of Commerce funding to relieve congestion at the Fish Lake Interchange.

Today the Transportation Alliance (@MNTransportAll) presented Transportation Advocate Awards to former Wright County Commissioner Michael Potter and the I-94 West Corridor Coalition at the 129th Annual Membership & Construction Forecast.

During our visit to Washington D.C. this week, members of the I-94 West Corridor Coalition had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Stauber who, as a Minnesotan and member of the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, has been super supportive of our efforts.

This week the Star Tribune highlighted Maple Grove’s efforts to complete the 610 expansion project. City Administrator Heidi Nelson emphasized the importance of the project and the urgency in securing the remaining funding now.
