So meet @AgnesnyamwizaA, the founder of the startup that provides clean drinking water to over 100,000 people, and training and empowerment to over 2,000 Ugandan women at the #GlobalMeetup 2022, taking place in the Hague! [6/6]

#Tusafishe's efforts, led by @AgnesnyamwizaA, have been noticed. This year, she successfully led her startup to the top finalist list for the @Bayer Social Innovation Award and the @BayerFoundation Women Empowerment Award. [5/6]

Not only has #Tusafishe created a system that provides water for refugees, schools, and rural communities, but they have committed themselves to the betterment of the societies through tree-planting plans and relevant training for women to manage their filtration systems [4/6]

Through the use of these filters, local communities no longer need to rely on boiling water as their primary water purification method. This leads to a sharp decrease in their carbon dioxide output caused by the burning of wood and other materials [3/6]

#Tusafishe is an Uganda-based startup with the goal to eliminate water-borne diseases in underprivileged communities. They do so by creating low-cost water filtration systems made available to the local communities. [2/6]
