Fulfillment post: If you follow me you know my 6 year old son’s strength is Math. Well this year my focus was really to focus on phonemic awareness. Yesterday I gave him an assessment and he is reading on a Level M. I’m forever grateful for being able to pour into him #proudmom

Reflecting on my 1st year as a stay home mom and homeschool teacher. I am overjoyed because I am truly blessed. All praises to the Most High for directing my paths and allowing me to pour into the children he blessed my womb to carry.

Y’all this was so me as a teacher teaching my students their letter sounds. We are going to have fun & obtain knowledge that will stick with us. The whole family going to sing “Do you know your letter sounds, it’s about to go down.” We all getting involved

I know I often mention Math but today Jeremiyah made me very proud with his Reading. He completed a book with Ch, Cr, st, pl, and ending ck words and did a phenomenal job. He also was able to answer oral comprehension questions with no problem or signs of frustration. #proudmom

Today for Jay’s math we worked on rounding to the nearest tens & hundreds. We practiced using st math and during our learning he said “mom this is called rounding I learned this when I watched odd squad” I love seeing him make connections to his educational tv shows. #homeschool

This week for language we worked on the “ing” & “ang” word cluster/family. We circled the cluster, wrote the cluster, built words with the cluster & completed a word path. Later he will read a bedtime story to his sister that has the clusters. #handsonlearning #learningisfun

The beautiful thing about the learning path we chose for Jeremiyah is his curriculum is modified for his needs. He enjoyed completing his missing number multiplication worksheet today. I love challenging him and seeing him conquer it with excitement. #learningisfun #5yearsold
