Congrats to WaCo's Takeo Spikes, named Monday as one of 4 athletes to be inducted into NFHS Hall of Fame! .Spikes' 1994 WaCo team (15-0) was one of greatest in GHSA history. Spikes had 40 receptions for 751 yards that year; scored 22 TD; 33 TFL as LB; 3 INT; 2 blocked punts.

Private schools won 6 of 8 basketball state titles in classes 3A-A (boys & girls). Next year, public schools will win all 8 while private schools will win 2 in the new 3A-A private division. No opinion on that, just pointing out things will be different next season in all sports.
