It's official: The GHSA has passed a reclass plan that will have private schools in classes 3A to A playing for state championships separate from public schools starting in 2024-25. Power ratings will seed playoff brackets in all classes 3A to A (including public).

Congrats to WaCo's Takeo Spikes, named Monday as one of 4 athletes to be inducted into NFHS Hall of Fame!
Spikes' 1994 WaCo team (15-0) was one of greatest in GHSA history. Spikes had 40 receptions for 751 yards that year; scored 22 TD; 33 TFL as LB; 3 INT; 2 blocked punts.
