Over the last 20 years, the Philippines has made remarkable progress against malaria: 72 of 82 provinces are now malaria-free and cases dropped from 38,000 in 2002 to just over 6,000 in 2023. But extreme weather events threaten progress.

Australia has partnered with the @GlobalFund for 20+ years, contributing AUD 1.34B. As the 6th donor to pledge early to the 8th Replenishment, it drives progress against malaria, sustains HIV and TB efforts & builds resilient health systems across the Indo-Pacific region.
