#Finney's in Camarillo is hosting a Tip-a-Cop to benefit #SpecialOlympics from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday 8/30 at 580 Ventura Boulevard. Local law enforcement will be serving dinner and your tips go to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics. Please support our local Special Olympians.

Ventura County or Vegas friends: we need help! We just housed a homeless vet and his 15-year-old son, but we can't get their two tuxedo cats - a brother and sister - housed for 3 months. The cats are in Vegas, the vet and his son here. Can you help? Please spread the word.

Please consider our veterans when making your Independence Day plans. Unpredictable fireworks in neighborhoods are much harder than planned events that can be avoided. Fireworks can trigger PTSD. Be considerate of veterans, and be safe - don't set off your own fireworks.

Beginning June 7, Gold Coast Veterans Foundation will have a therapist available who is a US Army Combat Veteran. Please call our office at 805-482-6550 to sign up.
Spread the word during PTSD Awareness Month. Even though PTSD treatments are effective and accessible, most people don't get the help they need. There are currently about 12 million people in the U.S. living with PTSD. Help spread the word on available PTSD treatments.
