Every year I work with the Iowa FFA Foundation on their annual golf tournament. This year I met my first turf student on the state FFA board. Next year, the foundation will present their first ever Turfgrass scholarship of $2500!!! Progress is being made!!! @NationalFFA @GCSAA

What a day!!! Great turnout for the KGCSA S&R event at @manhattancc The course was amazing thanks to host Superintendent Nik Youngers and staff. S/O to Christy Dipman on being named to the KGCSA Hall of Fame, she joins her husband Cliff in the Hall.

Had a great time connecting with Ozark GCSA members at Springfield CC this weekend. The area has received more rain than needed so attendance was down slightly. Still had a good group for golf and education about severe storm monitoring and safety.

It’s a wrap, the 1st annual @wee1foundation ever for the @MVGCSA1 was a BIG success. The teams were completely sold out and the group got a special treat filling the event with @STLWizard Congrats to the successful tournament committee (below)

GCSAA’s Video Training Series, launching in May, will feature crew-based videos on topics from cup cutting and greens mowing to bunker raking and hand watering. This 11-video series aims to help superintendents attract, train and retain employees.

We had a great day at Piney Valley Golf Course as they hosted a @TheFirstGreen event. This is the first one done on a military installation, Ft. Leonard Wood. Superintendent Joseph Mannuci put together a great program. The last time I was there was 1997 for basic training.
