Reading through the new edition of The Links Diary and was thrilled to see a story on The Golf House Club Elie. It was one of my favorite stops on my recent Scottish adventure. Lays claim to being the third oldest course in the world. Special place.

After taking my old college Mizuno blades out last wknd, I decided to throw the Titleist 620 MB’s in the bag this week. I bought them for fun and to screw around with a couple years ago. Results: low round of year at Lakewood CC on Tue with a 71 hitting 15 GIR’s. Played again

You just can’t beat the traditional out-and-back layout of a links course. Especially when The Bothy is waiting for you in the distance at the end of the front nine.
