I would have thought anyone with an SDR and a bit of knowledge could build one of these. Let's hope they don't try and ban SDRs. The first thing I did with my car when I got it was to disable the keyless entry, and I keep my keys in an old biscuit tin. https://t.co/1LprY2ZHDC

It is not illegal currently to own the gadgets but the government has promised to ban them.

I have been looking through my book purchase history. I can't believe I bought my first CUDA programming book in July 2010.

They (BATC) just posted my recent talk on AI. I can't bear to watch myself, it makes me cringe.

I did some work on the PSU/Network deck of my project while listening to Jensen Huang of NVIDIA giving his keynote.

You would think, in the age of smart meters my electricity supplier would know in real-time how much electricity I had exported. Seems not, a man came to read my meter and it seems I have exported more than the computers at Octopus were aware of. I have now been credited for it.

GnuRadio Companion SDR radio, created entirely using Claude Code AI. Worked first time, although the SSB part was missing and it tried to set the radio out of range. When I tied to do the same thing with the free version of ChatGPT it was a total failure.

Looking for extra ideas, anyone using AI in Amateur Radio that want to share their work? I think I have enough material of my own to fill the timeslot, but there is always space, full credit will be given.

Today's minor miracle was to get my 'chatbot' (LLM) to control GNU-Radio via MCP. It can just change the frequency of a tone at the moment, that is a start. Using Proxmox, with Ollama running a gpt-oss model in a container and GNU-Radio running in a Ubuntu 24.04 virtual machine.

Boring AI man here again. I have not posted anything on YouTube for a while, so here is a demo of the AI I have been putting together. I will never make a content creator π€£

I got gpt-oss:120b to write a web front end for my simple AI program using GRadio. It would have taken ages for me to figure out this for myself. I think I can sack junior developer me now π€£

Like a lot of people, I have been trying out the new gpt-oss:120b, I am getting around 68 tokens/sec. The model is highly censored (guard rails) though.

Anyone know what style of painting this might be? It originates from China circa 1900.
