Swearing can be used for a lot of reasons, to let off steam, to grab attention, yada yada. However in media you gotta be very carefully about how you right. You are wanting someone to come watch your show, so of course you don’t wanna waste their time

So you wanna write your script as tight as possible! You wanna get as much bang for your buck as you can get, without having to resort to a bunch of random stuff for no reason. Cuz then you would waste your viewer’s times and then your value would plummet

Emphasis is simple, if you TRULY need to get something across and show that this information is NEEDED to be heard, you can curse to grab everyone’s attention
Such as a classic: “Everyone shut the fuck up”

Surprise is also more or less simple. If you have a scene or show that barely ever curses suddenly curse, it can catch you off guard and be used to create abit of humor, or to show that the mood off the scene has changed a good bit

None of these ideas work (except maybe for rebellion) if you use swears too much. Too much swearing, no one pays attention when you swear. Too much swearing, and it’s not surprising when you do. Swearing is a craft that can be done well, but also can be horribly butchered

Gave the HH pilot a watch
Concept is somewhat interesting
Music can be fun
Alastor is honestly really fun
They do actually swear a lot (averaging 1 swear a minute)
The story kinda just meanders abit
Some of the animation feels just abit off
Give it a watch if you want, it’s ok
