That’s a wrap on my time in Guatemala. Big smiles after surgery, families reunited with hope, and stories that will stay with all of us long after we leave. But there’s still work to be done… heading to Jamaica to help those affected by #HurricaneMelissa

A humbling day here in #Guatemala with @TeamBrokenEarth. Today our volunteers worked side-by-side with local partners to deliver total hip replacements, urology care, gynecology services, general surgery, and plastic surgery to patients who need it most.

Day one on the ground with @TeamBrokenEarth in Guatemala with teams from Calgary, St. John’s, and Winnipeg. Boots on, gear unpacked, and ready to begin our mission. Grateful for this crew. The skill, heart, and collaboration here is something special.

15 years ago Allison and I made our first trip to Haiti with @TeamBrokenEarth. Today it hits me just how much the mission has grown and how many lives we’re able to touch in the process. Next stops: Guatemala, then Jamaica to support communities recovering from #HurricaneMelissa

After many years of tough negotiations, our transformative MOU with Quebec capitalizes on the value of our incredible assets for today, tomorrow, and well into the future. Please see my letter to Premier Wakeham.

Today, we remember the brave men and women who gave so much for our freedom. It was an honour to serve a province and a country forever in their debt. Lest we forget. 🇨🇦

It was a real honour to speak at the PEI Liberal Convention about what connects us as Canadians. Islanders know that community is more than a word. It’s how we weather storms and look out for one another. Grateful for the optimism and spirit that make Canada strong and united.

Reconciliation is not a single day, but a lifelong commitment to truth, healing, and justice. Today is a reminder of lives lost, of stories told, of resilience that endures. Today we remember, and recommit to reconciliation.

I shared reflections in the Globe and Mail on why Ukraine’s fight matters. In NL, Ukrainian families have rebuilt their lives, proud and resilient, still deeply tied to the homeland they left. Their story reminds us what is at stake. https://t.co/Ln67EhmwXj

In Kyiv for the Yalta European Strategy conference, I heard from President Zelenskyy, European leaders, and survivors of captivity. This war is a daily reality. The call is clear: the world must find real solutions. Ukraine fights for freedom & democracy, we must stand with them.

Saddened to learn of the passing of Ken Dryden. I was fortunate to speak with him many times, always struck by his brilliance, humility, and devotion to Canada beyond the rink. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

Hard to believe the years go by so quickly. From Rachael's first day of kindergarten to her last year of high school, it's a reminder of how special these milestones are. From one parent to many others, here's to a new year of learning, growth, and memories for our kids.

Heartbroken to hear of John McCallum’s passing. He was a good friend and someone I leaned on often for advice—especially on immigration and the economy. Thoughtful, kind, and always generous with his time. I’ll miss him greatly. My deepest condolences to his family.

My thoughts are with Marc Garneau’s family over the loss of an amazing Canadian. He was a friend and I loved our conversations. He would tell the kids all about space, happy to answer any questions they had, including embarrassing ones. He was the best of who we are as Canadians.
