Troy - Ryan Blaney . Both have had extreme highs and extreme lows, when they're at their best they're unstoppable, but when things get bad it becomes hard to watch.t

Texas State - Chris Buescher. Both have had a strong splash in recent years, both have fallen somewhat short of expectations in recent years, and both are extremely Texan, need I say more.

Southern Miss - Shane van Gisbergen. Both had strong success in their old homes (USM - C-USA, SVG - Supercars), and despite starting hot in their first times at their new homes, they've struggled a lot recently, both have a great shot to turn things around, however.

South Alabama - Michael McDowell . Backmarkers for a majority of their time, both of them were able to have huge moments that propelled them into being consistently pretty damn solid (McDowell - 2021 Daytona 500, USA - 10 Wins in 2022).

Old Dominion - Zane Smith . These two can both be pretty forgettable, but they can consistently put together good performances and have big moments.

Marshall - Joey Logano. On the contrary to Louisiana and Larson, these two specialize in winning the biggest and most important games/races.

Louisiana-Monroe - Cole Custer . You can't really set high expectations for either of these two, but they're able to put together strong runs and catch a lot of people by surprise.

Louisiana - Kyle Larson. Both have been extremely dominant, however, neither have been able to get over the hump and win at the very end in the last few years.

James Madison - Ty Gibbs. Both are hotshots that came up swinging with massive levels of confidence, yet haven't been able to reach the next level that many have expected them to.

Georgia State - Austin Cindric. While both are often doing worse than their other competitors, they both have a history of getting a massive win out of nowhere.

Georgia Southern - Chase Elliott. Both have a championship, both are extremely consistent, both are unapologetically southern, and both are a little bit boring.

Coastal Carolina - Denny Hamlin. You either love em or you hate em, both are known for their attitudes and both are still yet to get their respective championships.

Arkansas State - Erik Jones. While they're not as good as they've been in the past, they're still extremely capable of putting up strong performances and surprising a lot of people.

Appalachian State - Kyle Busch. Both have cocky attitudes and a history of success, but they've also fallen on hard times recently and are looking nothing like their former selves.

I think it's safe to say that the average Sun Belt game was infinitely more entertaining than this year's Super Bowl.

And while I (unfortunately) don't live in a Sun Belt town, I still got my fair share of snow as well. Stay safe out there!
