My parents had me kidnapped & shipped off to the troubled teen industry in Utah about 14 years ago. It's the most challenging situation I've ever endured - and it probably saved my life. Wrote a bit about the night I was taken here. https://t.co/bgr3HYfHVE

Closed my first real estate transaction today. I found ReTwit more than 5 years ago and have been fascinated ever since, so… it’s about damn time 🤣

My sixteenth birthday was the worst of my life (so far). Months earlier, I’d been kidnapped from my home & put into wilderness therapy then residential treatment in Utah to help me learn to cope with my autism symptoms. I hadn’t really settled into my new life in treatment yet.

Temple Grandin - perhaps the most notable people to ever be diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder - came to my hometown of Fresno, CA to speak to agricultural business leaders about her work with cattle eight years ago. I didn't expect to attend the talk, and frankly, I didn't even

Would proudly echo this. I’ve lived downtown for about two years. No regrets.
Phoenix has one of America’s best downtowns. Safe, clean, walkable. Every kind of food, every level of service. Professional sports, higher ed. Arenas to intimate venues. All kinds of housing. I’m so proud to develop here. (@nytimes link in replies).

Might’ve just solved 90% of my problems with a single injection. I’ve been *super* fatigued for months. One of my internet friends - unprompted - suggested I try vitamin B12 to see if that would help. 15 minutes post-injection and I’m feeling ready to do battle with Vishnu.

Hear me out: Blue Zones, but for places where people marry & own a home before they’re 30 years old.

The Phoenix-area public transit system spends about $8 per passenger ride provided. Imagine we wound down the bus & light rail system and directly subsidized the demand for Waymo’s instead? This will probably never happen, and that seems like a tragedy.

As a person with autism, going to concerts used to be nearly impossible for me. I would get so excited to be there, then feel that crawling in my skin to leave within the first half hour. But I kept trying, and I acclimated to the noise & the crowds. Now they’re one of my

Hot take warning: If, by some insane & unlikely twist of fate, RFK Jr. is right and there IS an environmental cause for autism that we can solve for, it behooves us to remove / fix that cause. Autism shouldn’t be an identity if it doesn’t need to be. I mean, look at how the

The Bio In Question: "I've struggled with autism my entire life. The associated social & executive functioning deficits made my time in school - and life in general - extremely difficult. Even so, positivity & ambition have taken me far. I wasn't a good fit for college, so when

I just rewrote my LinkedIn "Bio" outlining my journey & what I've done in life so far. It's often easy to feel like I'm playing catch-up in life and despair over how little I've accomplished - but when I actually write it out, it feels... different, almost like: "Shoot, that's
