Our new sponsors @Gripple worked hard over two days in the orchard and behind Whirlow Brook Hall - clearing a path through the undergrowth to start a 'scramble area' for children. They also took down an old fence in readiness for a new fence to be installed. Thanks guys!

An amazing day at our plant sale yesterday. The sun shone, the people came and there was ‘dogwood weaving' to make plant supports. Thanks also to Miriam from Waymaster Games Ltd for entertaining the children and all the volunteers that made this happen.

Great volunteer day yesterday. Making a dead hedge in the Orchard, edging lawns and painting park benches. There’s lots of benches in the park and we can only do them when the weather is dry. We also painted some new markers for the blue trail.

On Saturday we had five volunteers from the The University of Sheffield Conservation Society working in the community orchard. Lots of hard work. Our volunteers also built a hibernaculum as a haven for wildlife. @Shef_Volunteer #hibernaculum
