@Maisie_Williams @hm ask them if they're so sustainable why all their garment workers on poverty wages, why haven't they signed up to the severance fund, and why do they refuse to sign the binding agreement on gender-based violence despite immense evidence it is a systemic issue in their supply chain

😡😡this makes me so angry!
Oh Polly why?! 😩 I know people say to take this as a back handed compliment & I get it... but when they rip off designs you’ve worked hard on, then produce them in a fast fashion format - they’re turning what was created in an ethical space into something fuelling the problem.

@AjaSaysHello I think because 'sustainable' has (unhelpfully) become a word that gets applied to products, rather than processes- ie 'is this dress ''sustainable'?' Rather than 'are these systems of fashion production and consumption sustainable?' (Spoiler: no)
