It’s remarkable to think there are still some Canadians (albeit a shrinking minority) that think CBC is a credible news source. There are still a couple of real journalists working there…probably time for them to save their reputations and go work for a real news organization.
Travis Dhanraj’s lawyer, Kathryn Marshall, said Monday that the CBC didn’t want him booking “Conservative voices” on his show.

In April, the UCP claimed Alberta had a $5B deficit & used it to underfund healthcare & education. Now, just under 4 moths, they announced $8B surplus. That’s $13B swing in160 days. How? . They either misled Albertas or they’re fiscally incompetent.

Whether it’s a useless Digital Service Tax that pisses off our largest trade partner or the idiotic oil and gas emissions cap and a $170 industrial carbon tax that costs us hundreds of billions in investment —- this country just loves shooting ourselves in the face.
Industry told the Liberals to scrap the DST. Premiers asked them to drop it. The Biden admin started a pending trade dispute with us. The Liberals kept this tax. Now Trump has cancelled all trade talks with us. We are killing other industries over this dumb tax. It must go.

Actually Courtney, it asks if the government should withhold provincial social programs for any non-citizen or non-permanent resident who does not have an Alberta-approved immigration status. Immigrants that would still qualify for these programs would be immigrants that are.
