That Walter waited many years to say how he actually felt is an example of his deep loyalty toward the franchise and being a team player. That said, Walter has said what many of us have been feeling about how poorly supporting actors have been treated by both writers and studios.

any individuality for the supporting characters. It was as if you could literally have taken one long speech and taken a scissor to it, cut it into pieces, and handed it to us." This is how some fans feel the supporting actors of Picard were treated.

was no second reader nor due consideration for how Marina, Michael, LeVar and Michelle's roles would play out. If there were they'd not been reduced to cameos. Many fans in the franchise feel let down. This article is only the beginning. It's time now to think about one's legacy.

treated like second class citizens on television. The only people who are praising this are mostly white male fans whom Terry catered to. However, Terry isn't totally to blame. The fault also lies with the studio and Patrick Stuart who acted as producer. It is very evident there

better by women, people of color and the LGBTQA+ communities. The MAGA undertones, the mostly white male leads, the women being reduced to sound pieces for men and worse POC used as canon fodder left a bad taste in my mouth. It was like 1989 where women, POC and LGBTQA were

I would, but Terry blocked me at Easter when I told him that he was lying to the fans about the appearance of Worf,Troi and LeForge and their roles within the Picard franchise. I'm not going to mince my words here: If Terry is going to get the Legacy franchise, he will have to do

I agree she should be considered. That said, her role should have been bigger. The work Marina did was excellent and she should have been awarded more based on the fact Nepenthe was the highest viewed episode in Picard, Season 1. A missed opportunity that will not come again.

Here are what two critics who are not beholden to Trek are saying. Yes, I know the videos are long, but both make valid arguments! https://t.co/vcnLThAvWO

the material in a fair and unbiased way. Because of this I've lost respect for the franchise and the people who work in it. I know you're not responsible for PS3. However you're an elder and as such could've used your influence. For me the legacy of TNG is tainted. LLAP.🤔😪😠

that happened that shouldn't have and that made people of color and members of the LGBTQA community upset. It was very evident there was no outside reader who reviewed the script and gave advice on these issues as to not offend. This isn't about being woke rather about presenting

so much lost potential in this not to mention seven episodes were spent on a character who shouldn't have been given so much time in regards to seasoned veterans who DESERVED to be treated with RESPECT and who have paid their dues. Furthermore, there were things in the script

I understand about filming under Covid conditions, insurance issues, actors' schedules, etc. That said, could you have not done better for Marina? But it wasn't just Marina who was cheated of proper development. I feel the same about Michelle Hurd, LeVar and Michael. There was

Now, I apologize for being impatient, but since I contracted Long Covid, by time is precious. I really hope that Picard doesn't treat LeForge and Troi like they were back in TNG days. In closing, I do appreciate all your hard work and dedication to the franchise. Great job!

who actually want to see them as part of the storyline and not just on the screen for a couple of seconds. LeVar and Marina should have nice roles; their fans shouldn't be saying it's the fifth episode and we barely have seen them.

If their roles are small, just be upfront with us so we're not watching a bunch of episode hoping they appear and they don't. I get it: LeVar and Marina aren't as popular as the other crew, but it doesn't mean they don't have a fan following
