With the 2.0.0 update we introduced the "Bonus Character" system which allows for extra characters to be added in a simpler and more modular way. @joao_shino has been doing insane work behind the scenes to make this process even smoother which I'm sure you'll hear more about soon.

It's been a crazy ride going from helping lay the groundwork 10 years ago to seeing this amazing team come together and being a part of creating something so big. Time for me to take a break.

@sopeSSBM @dshaynie @pringles_ssb @ThatsADarkHorse @heronnobody I was losing my mind slowly piecing together nearly 50 in-engine camera shots for the gameplay portion using my old Lua scripts but it was all worth it in the end. This was our best trailer yet. Now we just have to hope the channel doesn't get randomly taken down again 🤞.

@sopeSSBM @dshaynie @pringles_ssb @ThatsADarkHorse was instrumental as always in helping editing, creating assets and putting together the final cut of the trailer. @heronnobody was entirely responsible for bringing the "warp room" idea to life learning how to edit and replace PS1 texture.

@sopeSSBM did incredible work creating Peach's reveal and the ending shots of Crash's. @dshaynie's animation @pringles_ssb's animation and sound design brought my vision for Crash's reveal to life better than I ever could have imagined or done it. These guys absolutely carried.

It's been only 18 hours and the Smash Remix 2.0.0 trailer is already closing in on 250k views and in the top 30 trending videos on YouTube. Incredibly proud of the work our video team pulled off this time and I think this is gonna be the first one to hit that 1m+ milestone 😃.
