Lots of valuable information at @AngelaStockman presentation #hackingwritersworkshop yesterday. Planning on using ideas this week with Grade 5s and Literacy Ss. Today my son is writing an essay and the building block idea is keeping him calm and ENCOURAGED!

I can't make you feel better because that is the precise environment that caused me, a TEACHER, to leave the classroom. So, I can only imagine how bad it must still be for students...but, yes...please also make me feel better!
Are there some high school teachers out there who can make me feel better? Seeing my children's high school maths experience is so dispiriting. Tell me you are breaking this cycle? Policy makers need to support teachers in making urgent change.
