Some things that would/do make them more fair: Potency/Count being made Hit After Clash Win in the future Low base power (already present 90% of the time) Putting thought into who is taking the hit where in the turn order Future Support E.G.O Etc.

There's counterplay, there's nuance, and if you don't care for it in a teambuilding way, then use a Cinq ID and solo. It's that simple, it really is.

If my Ring Sang dies, I'm going "oh shit" in my head, but then he's followed up by a Dieci Rodion or Hong Lu with boosted sanity and suddenly I'm fine because now the resident scholars are going to turn my enemy into a red stain.

Chip damage is a perfectly valid way to make a numbers game more difficult, and to force the players to think with more than just the six characters they've been curbstomping the game with, and I'll stand by that.

Are they unbalanced with the current amounts of status they apply? Absolutely, but that's just it. When an aoe attack hits the entire squad and only deals 78 damage, that's an average of 13 damage per sinner, I'm thanking my lucky stars that it only did 13 damage.
