We erformed a VRA application using @waatic_ device. We got high precision, errors occur in the transition area and savings will come soon (stay tuned). Further research will help us to understand cover crop, shadow and slope effect in the remotely sensed data. That's all folks!

In our research, we demonstrated that @planet satellite imagery can show effectively the spatial distribution of the canopy. Assessing the canopy characteristics with field measurements, canopy size is different between vigor classes within a plot.

But what about vineyards in slope? There are many challenges, 📢but also opportunites. Sudden changes in the terrain introduce great canopy variability within the same plot. Perfect for VRA! But. are satellites going to work here?

VRA in viticulture has been already used and an important reduction of product has been achieved. Product deposit on target has been improved and contamination off-target has been reduced.
