Given enough time, every animated show will do an episode without dialogue. Every lighthearted show with nerdy writers will do an episode about playing D&D.

Using his position not for his own benefit, but to give curious strangers a unique and memorable experience is something I really admire him for.

A few years ago he showed around a father and daughter. The father always admired jazz musicians. My dad told him that it was worth giving a shot, and that it was never too late. The other day my dad got a text from the guy with a video of him on the beach playing saxophone.

My dad is a really cool guy. He was stage manager at a jazz theater in NYC. Occasionally curious tourists would peek in the stage doors and if nothing was going on he'd bring them in and show them around- turn it into a special experience for someone visiting Manhattan.--

15 years ago Yoh Yoshinari defined the craft of animation's pinnacle with this sequence and it remains untouched to this day

I try not to pay much attention to numbers when it comes to creative things, especially because explaining them requires a lot of extrapolation and assumptions. Still, I wish it was possible to get answers when your basic expectations (for better or worse) are completely wrong.

Hot take but the appeal of manhwa and webtoons drops significantly once you spend a little time browsing the Clip Studio asset shop.

I spent a portion of the day scrolling through the google results for "Frankenstein yuri" How is everyone else doing?

Gunna toot my own horn and say that the latest Thrilling Intent is pretty rad.

I'm trying to remove mic buzz. Hours of research. The usual solutions are inapplicable. Adapters I (seem to) need share their name with 2 infinitely more popular but completely unrelated products. It's become a very expensive guessing game. My heart goes out to audio engineers.

Never say no to a free monitor. All of them are very necessary

The year is 2035. There are hundreds of competing streaming services. Each has only a few shows. All run ads. All use predatory subscription models. You don't buy media- only the license to watch, so you must watch the things they allow for the limited time they allow it.
