It was a blessing to offer the Mass with the good folks of St Luke's Abercarn this morning. Hollie also served at the altar which was a joy and blessing.

We are deeply saddened to learn this morning of the death of Sue Pinnington, Archdeacon of the Gwent Valleys. She will be in our prayers this morning at the 10.30am Cathedral Eucharist, along with her family and loved ones. Rest in peace and rise in glory.

Wonderful to offer the Mass with the worshipping communities of St Paul's Newbridge and St Mary's Risca today. What a delightful first Sunday in the Ministry area. @MonmouthDCO #newministry #newvicarontheloose

A favourite quote of the day. "Nevertheless, being a Christian is about growing in grace, not staying in place."

A few photos taken after an uplifting Mass this morning. I'm always struck by the beauty of the light mingling with the incense. @stmartinroath
