A lady asked me to bless some grapes, and I asked what she planned on doing with them. Apparently, people soak them in brandy, and when a famine comes, one grape can fill you. My first thought was: why soaked in brandy? Is Jesus a brandy guy?.

As someone who went to seminary in New Orleans, I know it’s best to avoid any “blood oaths” whether it’s from a yeti or a rougarou.
An incident in which Denver seminarians were invited to make a "blood oath" with a man in a yeti costume has been described as "a well-intended moment that clearly went badly wrong and never should have happened" by the vice rector involved.
