I used to live in Taiwan when Maokong gondola was being constructed, now I'm finally giving it a try. It's interesting to see that there's tons of tea touristy things here, and I ended up bypassing it and going straight to Nantou, Xitou, Lugu, etc.

I came across this plant while looking at blossoms, appears to be Camellia japonica, relative of the tea plant. I didn't know its flowers are so colorful.

And on Saturday and Sunday at 11AM - 1PM we'll be having a shorter Tea & Chill Party! There will only be oolong tea at this mini party, but there will still be chillhop! Location will be the same as the main event, suite in the Westin.

WOW! Anthrocon is in 2 weeks!. Tea & Chill is coming to #Anthrocon2024. DOUBLE WOW!. We're tentatively scheduled for 12-4 PM on Friday, 7/5 in a suite at the Westin (the one connected to the DLCC). More details will be made available closer to the event.
