Only thing I can think of is that they wanted card mooks like rudin and hathy to be aces/numbers? While jacks like lancer and clover are treated more like actual characters?.

Also I just realised the rudins seemingly went from jacks to aces during development. I wonder why they did that?
so like what happened to all the card kingdom queens? They're not alluded to at all.

when it's revealed that mike is a pseudonym gaster uses because referring to him as gaster would cause the game to crash
I hope they continue to build up the Mike myth in every chapter but NEVER tell us who Mike is. Just for the bit.

and like yeah, wingdings probably isn't the third most hated font (that's probably like impact or times new roman) but it was still a popular font to mock lol. Both Toby fox and TTG are just being font nerds here.

btw what do we think the cards canonically look like in deltarune? Are the characters depicted on there humans or monsters? Do they resemble the darkners they turn into in the dark world?
