Springboard is at no cost to the participant and breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and travel will all be provided. The next course starts Tuesday 31st January and runs until Thursday 16th March.

Completion of volunteering hours will contribute towards achieving the Saltire Award and there are many opportunities to continue volunteering following the course end.

Throughout the course, there is an opportunity to volunteer within Four Square’s social enterprise – Edinburgh Furniture Initiative.

There will also be a 3-day residential trip to the Highlands where you could be hill-walking, rock climbing, abseiling, marshmallow toasting.

You will have the chance to gain qualifications in Emergency First Aid at Work, Elementary Food Hygiene, and Mental Health First Aid. There will be trips out to bowling, laser and much more!.

Springboard is a 7-week course for 16-25-year-olds which aims to equip participants with the skills and confidence to engage in employability-related activities. The course runs 3 days per week Tuesday to Thursday.
