Asked the nearly 7yr old boy we got the other day if he wanted to go see the fire engine at the Highland games yesterday. "whats a fire engine" he replied. imagine a wean no knowing what a fire engine is. .

Another lovely day yesterday at Lesmahagow Highland Games. well done to the games committee for their efforts in making the games go from strength every year and everyone involved in the groups organising and building the floats. the weans loved being involved. great wee village.

Lovely day for a walk with the wean. new astroturf at McKirdy park looking great. i remember when it was that ruberised concrete years ago. not very forgiving when you were playing in goals

Ninja training done for another year. amazing how the falls now give me the fear when i was a goalkeeper for 20years and thought nothing of diving on all surfaces. must be an age and hip thing. great course from Danny and Alan.

Brodie Castle. National Trust membership has been wwll used over the years and saved us a fortune. great wee day out in between the rain

Visit Scotland. Culloden Battlefield and Nairn beach. if you've never been to Moray give it a visit. and its full of Whisky distilleries if you like a wee dram

Lossiemouth beach. Moray coast, love it up here.

Wee drive up to Lossiemouth for the weekend. scenery is outstanding. Scotland in the sun is absolutely gorgeous.
