Happy Mother’s Day from this Mama’s boy🫶🏾 Loving mothers lay their lives down for their children everyday & if you’ve read my story, you know my mom risked her life for mine. I don’t know what it’s like to be a mom, but I do know what it feels like to be a vulnerable child.

Hey everyone, it's a special day today because my son Anthony is turning 18! It feels like just yesterday when I met this amazing young man. It was back in 2017 when I became a part of his life when he was just 11 years old. It's been a challenging but an awesome journey so far

This little one… Came to us a year and a half ago! 🤩 What an unexpected delight this little one has been! 😍 She has brought so much joy to all of us and taught me things I never knew I needed to learn. 📝 To be patient, tender and understanding.

Today, Zay turns (20?). 🥳 Although he’s all grown up and aged out of Foster Care, he’s still my son. 🤗 It’s amazing seeing him working and taking care of himself 😍 Seeing him grown makes me feel proud of how far he’s come. How confident he is and the great sense of humour

2023 brought us so many gifts. I am grateful for the 7 kids we got to foster, & for the opportunity to adopt Luke and Isabella & make them forever part of our family. Thank you to the social workers who have entrusted me with these kids, and especially to the kids’ bio parents.

We are raising funds to provide room makeovers for teens so they have a space to call their own. In the past we have designed rooms with different themes. We need your help making over their rooms to create a space they’ve always dreamt of. Your help is truly appreciated.

Allow me to introduce the REAL boss in the Mutabazi household I mean, look at that sweet face..who wouldn't want to do exactly what she says? 😍 When people say, "A picture is worth a thousand words"—they were talking about THIS picture! Let’s just say this picture says it all

The first time I heard words of affirmation spoken over me, I was already a teenager. But even then, hearing kindness and love from the lips of a stranger made a huge impact on my life—that man's words are the reason I'm still here today! #KindnessMatters

I never had a pet before, but I knew that having a cuddly pup in the home would likely help make it a welcoming a place for new kids. I actually fought off dogs for many years, because they wanted the same scraps I did! But I knew then what I know now dogs break down barriers

Anthony was my 12th placement. I wasn’t ready to take him in. They asked if I would take him just for a weekend. So I said, “why not?” Then they told me he didn’t have anywhere else to go! I knew, being a teenager, it would be really hard for him to find a home and get adopted.

Alternatively, we could do something a bit shorter: Is it Easter Sunday..? 🐣 or just another frantic morning trying to get kids out the door fed, clothed, and happy? 😂 Happy Easter from my controlled chaos to yours 🫶🏾

You know your message has come full-circle when you see kids in your home wearing shirts that SPEAK their true value! 🙌🏾 You are LOVED. You are SEEN. You are HEARD. You BELONG. When I was a teen, it wasn’t the warm meals and the roof over my head that meant the most to me…

I grew up seeing my mother and sister mistreated, they were seen as second class citizens and that really bothered all my life I’m changing the narrative for these two princesses by treating and loving them differently from the way I was brought up. I am grateful to be their dad!
