Here's our 2025 calendar of race dates. All our Sunday race events are returning, including Father's Day, Fort Foodie Fest, and the two dog race days. We've simplified our post times and are running 4:30 p.m. twilight races for as long as summer daylight allows, before switching.

The field is set for out 6th annual Wiener Dog Races! A total of 87 dogs will be racing Sunday, July 13. A few quick stats:.- oldest wiener: 18-year-old Isla.- youngest pupper: 4-month-old Cooper.- chonkiest boy: 30-pound Twix.- most common hometown: St. Catharines, with 16 dogs

It was 26 degrees Celsius yesterday during our meet; looks like our friends at Equibase reported the Celsius temp in Fahrenheit by mistake.
@Equibase I read that some cards were cancelled recently due to extreme heat. I can't believe that @Forterieracing was able to run yesterday's card at 79 degrees Celsius!

Neck and neck! After a wild couple days last week, jockeys Crawford and Zenteno are tied for the lead in the top jockey race with 10 wins each. Catch live racing today (July 7) and tomorrow (July 8) first post 4:30 p.m. to see if either of them can pull ahead.

Live racing gallops back to Fort Erie next week, with back-to-back races on July 7 & 8, plus, we close out next week with a free concert from Cottage Brew, a crowd favourite returning for their third performance on our trackside stage.

There's a new leader atop the jockey standings after Juan Crawford went on a tear last week. Check out live racing today at 4:30pm, then again on Canada Day at noon, to see if Zenteno can reclaim the top spot.

CALLING ALL HORSES: we're looking for a few more thoroughbreds to join our Canada Day double header of racing on June 30 and July 1, so the entry box will re-open at 8 a.m. on Friday for any last minute horses who'd like to join the action.

Nobody's been able to dislodge Zenteno from the top spot, which he's been occupying since Opening Day. Come on out to the track today, first race at 4:30 p.m., and see if Crawford or Alderson can close the gap.
