A music camp through the ACM - Academy of Country Music pulls together people from all over who have Williams syndrome. For the ultimate Nashville experience, it's hard to imagine something better than this. @opry @parmalee .

Time for Sheldon the cat’s latest movie selection. 1976’s Car Wash. I didn’t totally get this one as a kid, but now I enjoy it as a fun super 70s time capsule. Soundtrack’s killer. Bonus points for the appearance by The Pointer Sisters. Sheldon prefers to watch it upside down.

In the most difficult moments of our lives, we need a goal to get us through it. Sumer Yates definitely had that while living with cancer. Now, she's celebrating life in style…platform boots, bell bottom, disco ball style.

Probably all of us know someone who has been affected by Alzheimer's. One long day in June sees a big fundraising push for the @alzassociation. One woman's proving helping out can come in all forms. You just need. a little drive.

Sheldon the cat’s hanging with me this week. I asked him what movie we should watch and he picked 1983’s DC Cab. Sheldon the cat’s a big fan of Mr. T. First time watch of this one for me, actually…and the theme song’s pretty much already won me over. Thanks, Sheldon the cat.

Well, there was no way I was missing this. Ernest Scared Stupid at the @Belcourt! This one’s always been my favorite of that series…between the rad creature designs, Rimshot the dog, Eartha Kitt, and general capturing of what Halloween in the early 90s felt like.

Somehow Bunnicula has managed to come up in conversation three times so far in 2025. Then today…I look in the free box at work. Lo and behold. Bunnicula. It’s like he’s trying to find me. When I was in 2nd grade, a librarian thought I was odd for loving this book. Not sorry.

With Brian Wilson's death, there's a local man with quite a tribute. Fred Vail was a promoter and later manager for The Beach Boys. I talked with Fred about the group. and also his collaboration with Brian, 1970's unreleased Cows in the Pasture album.

A question for you. Have you heard of the Dovie burger? If you know Tompkinsville, Kentucky, it's practically legendary. Dovie's has been part of Tompkinsville since 1938. There's a major new chapter in the story.

"Getting to spend time with Michael J. Fox has been one of the absolute highlights of my career," Mark said. "What an incredible human being that guy is. The scene is so iconic. We have to tell how important it was to all of us kids who started playing guitar because of it."

"We know the guitar is probably a late 1960 or early 1961 Gibson ES-345, cherry red," Mark continued. "We do not know the serial number. The guitar has an anomaly. For whatever reason, the guitar. has this 12th fret marker that is a solid parallelogram. That shouldn't be there."

Gibson Films is collecting interviews for a documentary about the search for the guitar. It's called Lost To The Future. Interviews so far include stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson. "We know it was rented to the movie by Norman's Rare Guitars," Mark said.

Gibson director of brand experience Mark Agnesi puts it like this. There are people who got inspired to go into music by that first appearance of the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. What set Mark on the path to music was the Back To The Future scene of Marty playing Johnny B. Goode.

"I got on my knees this morning, and I thanked God," Briana said. "At the same time, I have worked my tail off for it. As people, we need to feel we have a purpose and a plan in our lives. To say it's surreal, I don't think that's the right word. It say it's realized."

Briana e-mailed her story to Kix. It spoke to him, and he ended up joining her for performances and motivational speaking appearances in prisons. "You could do a 501," Kix said. "I can tell by the looks on [the inmates'] faces, she's changing how they look at things."
