Remembering Eric Thompson, who died aged 95 #OTD in 2015. Racing sports cars for Aston Martin, Thompson finished 3rd at Le Mans in 1951. In his only GP, he drove a works Connaught to a fine 5th place at Silverstone in '52. Thompson was a class winner at Le Mans in '49 & '51.
