It’s been almost 20 years since the Mavs have won a playoff series in consecutive seasons. 2025 & 2026. Wild.

I think it’s safe to say the mavs won’t win a playoff series this year. Assuming that happens, it will continue their streak of making it to at least the WCF in one season and then missing that playoffs or losing in the first round the next season. ‘88, ‘03, ‘06,’11,’22,’24.

Heartbroken to hear of his passing. We became friends, reminiscing on NBA history, sharing the hidden YouTube gems only diehard NBA fans would love, & bonded over sharing our love of the game with our young sons. He celebrated my son’s first in game basket like a proud uncle.

I don’t spend much time on here anymore but one thing I do appreciate about the years I did spend on here was making genuine connections with fellow NBA history fans. While we never met in person, I truly cherished the interactions I had with @HoopsRandom on twitter and insta.

Will never understand the trade. I’ll still watch the Mavs, I think. Mainly out of curiosity? . I don’t follow any other team or sport. It just won’t be the same. And that sucks.
