There are lots of interesting things to do in #Carlisle in #Cumbria, including some that are #dogfriendly. Some of the must-see tourist attractions are Carlisle Castle and the Cathedral. https://t.co/1BENzpiX5T

Nothing like a whimsical but delicious London afternoon tea to say goodbye to England. Sugar overload! π¬

The rain stopped just long enough to enjoy a lovely day exploring York, one of my favorite UK cities. The Shambles might be touristy but you can't not visit, I mean it's so unique and interesting to look at.

Saying goodbye to my wee mate Jasper as I leave my parents house to start the journey home. Jasper is a big ball of chaos. He loves run-walking in zigzags, jumping like he's got a personal trampoline and sitting on the back of the armchair when Mum isn't looking. But he's cute π

Traffic jam, Lake District style. This little Herdy sheep must have jumped a fence and seemed a bit lost as to the way home... so spent a while just hanging out in the middle of the road figuring it out #LakeDistrict #sheepproblems

A great Sunday roast dinner my favorite pub back home, the @twicebrewedinn Look at the size of those Yorkshire puddings! Only a couple of minutes off Hadrian's Wall, this place was a lifesaver while hiking the 84-mile route across the UK 3 years ago https://t.co/bJsFcxgSOO

I gave it another go, but still not in love with Luxembourg. The Christmas markets were nice though. Anyone else not been wowed by a place when traveling? Maybe there's something else I should do or a different place in Luxembourg I should visit if I go again

I read Carolin's post last year and it inspired me to add Antwerp to my travel itinerary. And I'm glad I did. What an amazing city. Check out Carolin's article: Ultimate Travel Guide with 30 Things to do in Antwerp. Let's see if it works on you too!

Uh oh, the collection is growing! I do love myself a Christmas market mug π I spend more time walking around looking for the places with the mugs I want more than caring about the drinks in them. Anyone got any favorites you've picked up on your travels? #Christmasmarket

Trier is one of my favorite cities in Germany. It has so much cool Roman history. Today couldn't have been more perfect enjoying it with its beautiful Christmas market. Just a magical atmosphere, even with a some rain.

When in Germany π©πͺ πΊ Enjoying some KΓΆlsch, I mean I am in Cologne which is where it originated. When you go to a brauhaus you're just asked if you want a beer - not what kind of beer. And once finished, they'll just keep replacing it until you cover the glass. My kinda place!
