The Gabelli School's Personal & Professional Development Center kicked off this season of giving thanks with the Gabelli Gratitude Lunch on 11/3. During the event, students from PPD Scholars programs wrote thank you notes to those who have helped them along their career journeys.

As part of their Global Immersion Program, Professional M.B.A. students began their exciting journey in Lisbon, Portugal. During the week, the group will visit global and local companies, hear from industry leaders, and immerse themselves in the city’s business & culture.

On October 7, 20 first-year M.B.A. students at the Gabelli School of Business visited AMEX headquarters at AMEX Tower in lower Manhattan. Here they gained insights into the company's core business and learned about the internship opportunities and career paths it has to offer.

Two groups of Full-time M.B.A. students recently enjoyed Central Park Walking Tours alongside Sertan Kabadayi, Ph.D., the M.B.A. program director. Guided by a professional tour leader, they explored the park’s rich history and its importance to New York City.

The Gabelli School has 5 current graduate students who are members of Fordham University's Men's Water Polo team, ranked #5 in the US in Division I. They are: Luca Silvestri (MSAIB); Marco Napolitano (MSF); Kyle Thomas (MSF); Gianni Farrugia (MSF); Matthew Bonello DuPuis (MSF).

As part of Climate Week, the Gabelli School’s Responsible Business Center, was recently a Campus Supporter at The Nest Climate Campus at the Jacob Javits Center, presenting a panel discussion titled “Is Grad School for Me? Education Options for Green Jobs."

A huge congratulations to Gabelli School M.B.A. student Ellen Lai, who was recently named a Goldie Scholar®! This is an incredible achievement, and it marks the first time a Fordham University student has been chosen by The Goldie Initiative® to be part of this select cohort.

On September 16, the Fordham Gabelli School of Business Graduate Marketing Society hosted its Welcome Back Bash. It was the perfect opportunity to see old friends, make new connections, relax, and enjoy some pizza. A great time was has by all.

Thrilled to announce Fordham's Gabelli School of Business was just ranked #52 overall in the US in Bloomberg's Best Business School Rankings 2025-26, up two points from 2024-25. Congrats to the GSB community & a huge thanks to all who make the advances in these rankings possible!

Professional M.B.A. (PMBA) students gathered on 9/4 to celebrate the start of the new academic year. Sertan Kabadayi, Ph.D., director of the program, hosted the event to welcome incoming and returning students. The evening was filled with energy and excitement!

On August 16-18, the Gabelli School held its orientation for incoming students in the specialized master's programs. It was an incredible 3 days that introduced a cohort of students from around the world to New York City and to the Gabelli School of Business. Best of luck to all!

To kick off the semester, members of the incoming Gabelli School of Business Executive M.B.A. program participated in their first residential, held at Fordham's Westchester Campus. They got to know each other and learn more about their upcoming executive education journey.

During the first week of the Gabelli Launch Orientation , Full-Time M.B.A. students enjoyed a special afternoon visit to Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York City’s mayor. The visit blended cultural enrichment with the program’s “New York is my classroom” ethos.

Congrats to Imelda Tavas, M.D. (GABELLI ’25), recently selected as one of Poets & Quants 2025 Best & Brightest Executive MBAs. The EMBA program helped her to evolve her leadership & management style, enabling her to embrace empathy while building resilient & adaptable teams.

This past week, members of the Fordham Full-Time M.B.A. Classes of 2021 and 2022 gathered for a vibrant evening of networking and reconnection. It was a pleasure to welcome our alumni back, hear about their professional journeys, and celebrate their continued success!

Gabelli School Professional M.B.A. students joined the Fordham Young Alumni Group at Citi Field for summer networking as the NY Mets took on the Cincinnati Reds. The evening was filled with engaging conversations, meaningful connections, and a shared sense of Fordham pride.

The Gabelli School’s first-year M.B.A. students wrapped up the year with a fantastic celebration at Harlem Tavern! It was an evening filled with fun, laughter, & great company as classmates came together to celebrate their achievements and the friendships built over the year.

Before graduating and heading off to exciting new careers, our second-year, full-time M.B.A. students enjoyed a Catskill Mountain retreat—a mix of serenity and celebration! Next stop: the real world. But first, a memory they’ll carry with them forever.
