Feeling proud of my Year 10 @AQA GCSE pupils this week. Their first food science experiment exploring the functions of flours in pasta-making was a success. They've also been busy planning and researching their first practical dish whilst practicing their food presentation skills

My last @TheRowansAP trip and one of my favourites @GoApeTribe Day! Overcoming our fears and embracing throwing ourselves from the tree tops. Nothing beats the feeling of seeing pupils go from "I can't do this" to "I'm so glad I did"

Such a wholesome lesson today. My GCSE group worked alongside 4 @TheRowansAP KS3 pupils who have worked extremely hard this term to create stuffed, shaped bread. #thisisap #teamwork #cooking

Today @TheRowansAP GCSE Food pupils revised over 10 key points in an hour, all whilst completing basic practicals and seeing key terms in real life scenarios. Pupils had to write in red what they already know about the topics before and again at the end of the lesson in green.
