This is why we need a food strategy that recognises the importance of local #foodpartnerships and champions them in every local area - was our second policy ask for the new government.

Of course, a strategy isn't a magic bullet to fix our food system - strategy needs to be translate into actionable outcomes that can be taken at national, and local level. And to be truly transformative, it needs to be cross-sectoral and holisitic in its approach.

The government recently announced plans for a new #foodstrategy, which means that one of our policy wishes for 2025 -- for a cross-cutting national food strategy -- has come true. Just in time for Christmas!
