This morning, 9/23, FMHS & FM9 were evacuated after a smell of gas was reported near a construction area. Multiple tests by FMFD showed no readings. Out of caution, we evacuated. Students are back in class & the building has been cleared safe. Safety is our priority.

FMHS & FM9 were briefly evacuated this morning after a strong gas smell in a construction area. Everyone is safe & back in class. FMHS gas is shut off (lunches adjusted), but FM9 is helping ensure all students eat. Huge thanks to staff, students & first responders!
