Flight 93 flight attendant Loraine Bay. “The Card Lady” as many knew her, she had been a flight attendant for thirty-seven years. Loraine was ranked 4th in seniority at Newark Airport. She made it a point to remember birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.

October 2001, the Somerset County Coroner directed the crater be filled in. During the investigation the crater was excavated to a depth of 40 feet. Today, the area is planted with wildflowers and a 17-ton boulder marks the location of the Flight 93 crash site.
