Most of the negativity in the fandom comes not from people critiquing the series, but from the people complaining about people critiquing. If we were more open to potentially negative discussion, it would be a more positive place as a whole.

yeah sure except it's still just blatantly unfun to run through. I don't care about it not being like sonic 2, obviously they'd need to make changes for a mostly exploration-based game but I care about it having like any cohesion or flow whatsoever.

WE NEED A NEW VOICE DIRECTOR BEFORE NEW VAS.
I wouldn't really say we *need* a recast for the Sonic VA's.but I would like to see one at some point in the future. It won't undermine the years of work the current VA's are putting in, and hearing a completely new cast on a new game could lead to really interesting results.

That said this is AWESOME, so glad they're finally going all-in with this, with the cartooniness that made Sonic so great to begin with! I just really hope we get new or edited models that actually support the animation style at all.

For anyone complaining or saying this looks bad, keep in mind this IS a TEST - what's most likely happening is this was made to see the capabilities of the tech, not worrying about polish because it was just an internal test to see how far they could go with this.
