This should be required reading for absolutely everyone. People don't realise how recently Section 28 was still affecting the lives of LGBTQ+ people, and the similarities to how trans people are currently treated by the government and society are harrowing.

@GodisaGeek 1) The Plucky Squire. The Plucky Squire just looks incredible. The jumping from 2d to 3d, the amount of creative ideas shown across a handful of trailers, the gorgeous visuals. This game has it all, and I'm almost certain it'll be one of my highlights of 2024.

@GodisaGeek 2) Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Final Fantasy VII Remake was my GOTY in 2020, so it shouldn't surprise you that the next part of Cloud's story is on this list. There are so many questions about where the story will go after a couple of twists in Remake, and I want them answered!

3) Mewgenics. I definitely should've fought harder for this on the @GodisaGeek most anticipated list. Turn based tactics with cat breeding that's finally coming out next year! Looks to have the Meat Boy/Isaac humour and a hell of a lot of depth, and I need that in my life.

4) Mina the Hollower. I'm so excited to play the next Yacht Club game, and the fact it's a retro top down Zelda style game only makes me more giddy! I love Shovel Knight as much as the next guy, but it's Mina's time to shine next year!

5) Pony Island 2: Panda Circus. Another unexpected sequel on the list, I just cannot get enough of Daniel Mullins Games. Inscryption was a magical game, and Pony Island 2 looks like it'll be just as baffling and compelling.

6) Metaphor: ReFantazio. I could hardly include Persona 3 Reload and not also mention the new massive game coming from the team behind Persona 3, 4 and 5. I think this looks incredible, and it wouldn't surprise me if it ended up being my number 1 at GOTY time next year.

7) Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus. Never has a short trailer made me so sure I'll love a game more than that of Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus. Probably the most beautiful game on the list, and it's also an action platformer with Metroidvania elements! I need it now!
