Storm Christoph gave us a busy day with rescues from flood water, property preservation and advice. Our deepest sympathies to all those whose properties have been affected by the floods. Our deepest thanks to crews that assisted us through the day as well as our Control Staff.

Another day yet another deliberate wildfire! 100 hectares of forestry and scrubland above @Llanwrtydfire . 9 fire appliances, helicopter and officers! Again tremendous work in arduous conditions, and proud of the work by crews. We did still manage to #ClapForOurCarers 👍

Tonight we bid farewell to Crew Manager Roger Smith. Roger served at Llanwrtyd station for just over 11 years, he was a very well respected member of the crew and quickly became the favourite in the community not long after joining! Thanks to @rog_thomas for coming to the station
