Many are still without power and numerous streets remained closed. The City of Conway is working diligently to assess the damage, and open up streets, while Conway Corporation works to restore power. Please avoid any downed power lines, and treat them all as if they are live.

Yesterday evening, a strong line of storms moved through Conway causing widespread damage. Conway Fire Department responded to 76 calls from 5:00 pm to midnight. Numerous houses and vehicles were damaged by falling trees and high winds.

CFD is currently on scene of a residential structure fire on Amanda Dr. All occupants are out and the fire is under control.
