Cross country evidence suggests that the adoption of e-procurement can generate efficiency gains of @ 10 to 12%. Applying a conservative 10% efficiency gain to #Malawi‘s procurement volume (estimated at 11% of GDP) can generate savings of around 1.1% of GDP. Zikomo MIPS!

Excited to sign a US$350 million IDA grant, which aims to leverage about US$1 billion in private capital, for the Mpatamanga Hydropower Storage Project. The project will double installed hydro capacity, increase access for over a million Malawians, and create thousands of jobs.
