This incredible Lionesses took time out of her Sunday morning today to come into the @bbcwm studio and meet a young footballer who’s suffering from the same eye condition. We only asked for a voicenote, SHE asked to come in. An absolute class act, @hannahhampton_ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Great also to speak with @iansample @guardian about @UKHSA NSC UK vision screening programme for 4-5year olds aimed at making sure affected children get timely treatment. Plus value of protective glasses to prevent injury to better seeing eye if you have #ambyopia/‘lazy’ eye.
