These cross-chops from Grayson Murphy are filthy

Week 1 is officially 3 weeks away. Here is Jaelan Phillips dominating the past 2 week 1 games for the Dolphins, including closing the game with sacks in both of them. He’s one of the most underrated players in the sport IMO. Really hope he can stay healthy this season.

Nice plays by rookies Kenneth Grant and Dante Trader Jr. early on in the game . Grant lining up at 5 tech is interesting👀

I don’t know if it will end up panning out, but I see the Dolphins vision with Larry Borom. He can do things in the run and screen game that Miami didn’t have at backup OT last season from Lamm. Ideally Borom never even ends up having to play, but yesterday was an encouraging

Some of these reps where Grayson Murphy turns the corner is really impressive, and he’s been pairing it with a nice inside counter (got a sack on it yesterday). Love how he flashes the hands, then immediately rips. The lower body flexibility to flatten to the QB is awesome.

This is a potential TD if Zach Wilson hits Dee Eskridge in stride, brutal throw

Tahj Washington’s size is a clear limitation for him, but yesterday he made some tough plays. Hospital ball from Zach Wilson and he hangs on and even gets a few more yards. Tahj also had a strong block on a big 3rd and long gain on the Eskridge screen.

Some of Quinn Ewers’ best throws from yesterday. He made a legit case for QB2.

Derrick McLendon didn’t make any flashy plays, but this is the stuff that’s going to get him on the roster if he makes it. For one of the EDGE spots behind Phillips, Chubb and Chop, you’re likely going to need someone that can play early downs and defend the run.

Also another great block by Hayden Rucci, he was out there putting guys in the ground yesterday.

Zeek Biggers continues to make a case to be the 5th DL to make the team, i think he has the upper hand because he was just drafted this offseason

I think rookie UDFA Eugene Asante has a chance to make this Dolphins team. He is having a hell of a preseason. Hits hard, can run well, and the passion he plays with is evident.

Jason Marshall Jr. had a couple of nice reps in run defense. He’s put together some intriguing tape so far this preseason.

Yesterday was the type of performance that secures a roster spot for Dee Eskridge

Kenneth Grant already making an impact as a pass rusher is great to see…. He’s going to get a lot of 1 on 1 opportunities when everyone on the front is out there together.
